A friend of mine had posted this tonight and so it appeared on my news feed. Ever since we first met, I had always enjoyed the music he'd put on or share on social media. This one wasn't any different. 

This is one of those songs typical of that decade and genre that's a bit ironic; in the sense that the music is so fun and happy but the lyrics itself is a bit sad and depressing. These songs always have me polarized. I love listening to it (evident from the smile on my face and my snapping fingers), but the fact that it's a sad song disguising inside a happy tune makes it all the more depressing.
